Paris, the city of my memories of youth but also the nowadays city with its culture that triggers conflicts and mutual aid. Paris is misshapen and yet is magnificent. Its beauty is not only superficial. It was born from continuous change of politics, allegations, people and culture however it is difficult to understand. When I took pictures of Charlie Hebdo march and of protest for Syria, I felt the contradictions and the battles that Parisians hold in themselves. I will keep taking pictures of this city of Paris where light and darkness live together in order to give birth to resistance and empathy.
